Cenacles of Life Pray the Rosary, change the world! Cenacles of Life follows Our Lady of Fatima’s exhortation to pray for the conversion of sinners and for the triumph of her Immaculate Heart. Two rosaries are prayed at Blessed Sacrament Church at 7pm each Sunday evening, except the 3rd Sunday of the Month when we have a Holy Hour for Marriage and Family Life. We pray for the Church, the world, our nation, our families, our children and grandchildren and for an end to all the evil afflicting our culture. Please join us. | 2 Council of Catholic Women Meeting- Annex
Council of Catholic Women All women of the parish are members and are invited to participate through prayer and service. Currently CCW supports or sponsors, in varying degrees: Pregnancy Life Center, soup suppers, outreach to missions, the Fall Festival, parish mailings, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, and outreach to the needy. Women may choose which activities they would like to participate in. There is a call and a place in CCW for all Catholic women. Meetings are held generally held the first Monday of the month at 1pm in the Courtyard Annex, September through May. | 7 Assumption School Spirit Walk
SPIRIT WALK! Assumption Catholic School will be having a Spirit Walk on Saturday, May 7th from 10:00am-12:00pm. Students will be selling dedication signs to line our path around the church and school. These signs will be placed near the sidewalks around the Blessed Sacrament/ Assumption Catholic School Campus. These signs can be in memory of someone, in honor of someone or something, or for a cause. They can be purchased for $10 from any Assumption Catholic School student or from the parish office. The goal for our school fundraiser is $44,250. Students are fundraising now until May 3rd. Students can earn prizes and incentives for reaching certain fundraising goals. Please join us to walk the path between 10:00-12:00 on May 7th to see the touching memorials around the campus. THANK YOU for supporting Assumption Catholic School!
Mini-Spring Fling!
Mini-Spring Fling! The Council of Catholic Women will be having a mini Spring Fling Sat., May 7th from 11:00am-1:00pm. Homemade items available for sale will be as follows: meat balls, spaghetti sauce, sarma balls, egg rolls, and antipasto. If you are able and willing to lend a hand, preparation for these items will be on Mon., April 25th and Tues., April 26th, beginning at 8:00am in the Parish Kitchen. There will be a potluck lunch served to all our volunteers. Deli items such as jams, jellies, pickles, home canned foods, pickled beets, baked goods etc. are always a hit! Homemade craft items will be accepted for our fundraiser (crafters—please remember to price your items). Donations can be dropped off in St. Leo’s Hall on Fri., April 29th from 11:00am-1:00pm. One Catholic Family (which is open to all and hosts monthly worship, meal, and fellowship events) is having an adults-only prayer, discernment, and planning night at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26th in the Church. The purpose of this night is to ask for God's guidance together as we move forward in planning for this summer and the year ahead. Even if you have never attended, all adults are invited to attend, pray, and share their vision of how to deepen the spirit of friendship, family, and faith at our parish as One Catholic Family. One Catholic Family (which is open to all and hosts monthly worship, meal, and fellowship events) is having an adults-only prayer, discernment, and planning night at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26th in the Church. The purpose of this night is to ask for God's guidance together as we move forward in planning for this summer and the year ahead. Even if you have never attended, all adults are invited to attend, pray, and share their vision of how to deepen the spirit of friendship, family, and faith at our parish as One Catholic Family.
